I practiced a bunch on the vinyl control system I picked up. I had to do it, I needed something tactile. The cds work great, but I started out ten years ago djing with vinyl, and the very solid control has a spirit that speaks to me.

The set I was originally going to do was all laid out, tracks ready to go. The set I recorded was completely off the cuff, hence some of the roughest transitions I've ever done, right along side some of the best blends and cuts I've put down. The set became a study in the dance tracks I'd been rolling around in the back of my mind, or live on the system at Skully's here and there.
